Our Facility
We have occupied our 25,000 square foot facility since 1976, which is located in Westland, Michigan, ten miles west of Detroit. Engineering laboratories and quality control rooms utilize 3,000 square feet of this space. The production of intricate circuit card assemblies takes place in our environmental "clean room," equipped with an independent temperature controlled air flow system and electro-static work stations. Assembly areas are established in a continuous production line fashion for efficiency. In-process production/inspection travelers identify each lot, operations performed and inspection results.
Additionally, we maintain a complete library of federal and military specifications, standards and drawings. Access to on-line information allows us to easily identify part numbers, national stock numbers or commercial and government cage codes. An electronic history file provides for quick identification of components and their sources. Computerized procurement and stock areas functions reduces material costs and facilitates complete component traceability.
